6:51 am at Canandaigua Airport (D38).
On the ramp at Dulles Airport for the Annual Plane Pull event to benefit the Virginia Special Olympics.
More pictures at the Plane Pull, looking Northwest over the FedEx Cargo (#6) ramp, and beyond that is runway 1L/19R. In the background to the right with the red and grey tail is a C-160 from Germany.
On the ramp, looking north. In the distance, the tan looking airplane is a Saudi Arabian Airlines Boeing 747.
This is a Paris Jet, a four-seat certificated noisier-than-you-can-believe airplane. Pretty cool.
It's a little dark inside this temporary hanger, but it is an actual SR-71 Blackbird in a environmentally monitored area waiting to go into the new Smithsonian Air and Space museum when it is completed.
